An Epitome of Statesmanship
Mesmerized by his Hindi eloquence and the oratorical prowess, Pandit Nehru's prophetic words uttered in 1957, "One day this young man shall become the Prime Minister of India," reverberated into the Cosmos for manifesting the premonition almost four decades later.
As they say - the rest is history.
Never has time, within the geographical boundaries of this land, witnessed such a statesman possessing even an iota of intuitiveness, a speck of large-heartedness, a grain of cognitive awareness, or the sheer amicability in comparison, whereby, enchanting diverse ideologies from the remotest corners.
Each syllable emanating from the mouth of Atal Bihari Vajpayee is divine poetic artistry, which breaches the barriers of opinions, perceptions, thought-processes, & political demarcations to caress the Soul of the beholder. From a modest upbringing to getting anointed at the helm of national affairs thrice, Vajpayee's awe-inspiring voyage traversing a 13-day term in 1996, a 13-month regime in 1998 truncated by a single vote of the then Orissa CM, before the third re-election in 1999, lasting a four-and-a-half-year term till the 2004 preponed elections fought on the disastrous "Shining India" campaign.
Born with an enchanting innocence, and earthy simplicity, Vajpayee got blessed by a multi-faceted personality, foraying through various professions of a forthright journalist, sublime poet, culminating into accomplishing a feat to become the first non-congress leader completing the entire term at the helm.
Undoubtedly, his unmatched persona towered above the prevalent prosaic mundaneness, alluring masses notwithstanding the constrictions of religious ethnicity, limitations akin to caste, creed, gender, or age. By sheer endeavours based on noteworthy earnestness, staunch patriotism, & unwavering resoluteness Atal Bihari in collaboration with long-standing comrade - L. K. Advani, not only established a plausible alternative to the Congress dispensations in the post-Independence era, instead, metamorphosed the half-a-century-old Nehruvian polity for ushering a semblance of reverence in the manner the world perceived India.
In the final decade of the second Millenium, amid the ambience of scepticism, commingle with political fickleness, student unrests, in addition to the unstable economy, struggling to withstand a global vortex of war and financial slumps, the magnetic aura of A. B. Vajpayee became the fulcrum upon which a 28-party coalition got forged, entailing diagonally contradictory doctrines originating from the avaricious obstinacy of head-strong persons, unwilling to cede an inch.
Which evinced the affable togetherness, and amiable oneness, entrenched within the former Prime Minister. His cognitive collaboration with National Security Advisor and modern-era Chanakya - Brajesh Chandra Mishra, ensued ingenious diplomatic stratagems, causing not just complete isolation of terrorism-abetment-sanctuary, Pakistan, in the international community, but, the nuclear empowerment of a billion-strong nation, despite, the burgeoning pressures from most western or eastern world Superpowers. 
Moreover, at the zenith of his clout & stature, a single call instantaneously transformed the life of an organisational member, thereby, catapulting to the helm of affairs as the Chief Minister of a calamity-enduring ruinous western state of Gujarat, replacing the inefficacious predecessor - Keshubhai Patel.
Contrastingly, a press conference video footage held in the aftermath of the 2002 Godhra massacre, capturing the famous verbal dictate to former Gujarat CM, and the incumbent Head of State - Narendra Damodar Das Modi, of enforcing Raj dharma, Hindi dialect for "duties of kingship", set the political discourse for the upcoming years in the New Millennium.
Renowned for witty one-liners drenched in incisive poetry, Vajpayee's quintessence of forthright humaneness encapsulated in strong-willed resoluteness, effective sarcasm, and the ability to seamlessly harmonise with the overnight changing spectrums in the echelons of authority became the enchantment, be it, for allies or foes.
Ironically, in life as in Quietus, the phenomenon called Atal Bihari Vajpayee, magnetically united divergent ideologies in a communion of mourning, which defines, and indeed segregates the poetic legacy from the quotidian ordinariness permeating the ambience.
In turn, catapulting the iconic stalwart-cum-mass leader to the league of unforeseen Prime Ministerial greatness, ever witnessed upon this land of spiritualism.
